What's the best processor that will fit on my motherboard?

I hold a Intel Corporation D845HV AAA63929-308 motherboard. What is the best processor I can fit on it? I currently have a Pentuim 4 1.6 GHz processor.

What's the best processor that will fit on my motherboard?

The guide says:

The D845HV and D845WN boards support a single Pentium 4 processor (in an mPGA478 socket) next to a system bus of 400 MHz.

That means that your best bet is the Intel P4 2.0 GHz.

It may be thorny to find. I do not see it at NewEgg.com Keep in mind these parameter:

- mPGA478 socket

- system bus of 400 MHz

- Intel P4 2.0 GHz

Good luck and Happy Computing!
Any Pentium 4 478 pin with a 400 FSB.
Check your BIOS journal and look at the Intel link I own listed.
