When I go and get Windows Vista what happend to adjectives of the files on my computer?

I hold so many songs and games and things whats going to occur to them? is there a route i can back them up or anything?

When I go and get Windows Vista what happend to adjectives of the files on my computer?

I would look into the interpretation of Windows Vista that allows you to upgrade from an existing version of Windows. Otherwise you would own to do a fresh install which would require you to format your hard drive. You don't want that because you would lose adjectives your files.

I would backup your files to CD or DVD (if you enjoy a CD/DVD burner) so you can recopy them onto Vista. It would also be good to do this contained by case your unyielding drive fails.
Well when you install it no files are going to go and get deleted. Only upgraded. So adjectives your music files and other things will stay don't worry. And yes you can hindmost them up on a cd, flash drive, etc. Or you can back them up on the firm drive to. But there is no guarantee your files will achieve deleted unless you hold like a background safe drive which munificent of like a stern up hard drive on your comp.
they get deleted everytime you install a alien OS your hardrive files are deleted and you can hindmost em up by putting the files into a removeable hardive like a flashdrive or a memory card if you enjoy memory card slots
