My P.C is a HP Pavillion a305w IT JUST STARTED DOING THAT.
Whats wrong if my cd drive wont stay closed keep popping unequivocal.?
Sometimes the drive is built surrounded by and there is a front panel beside an extra button that extends inside to the eject button of the built in drive.
I suppose this front panel button get stuck after you pressed it and now it keep pressing the drives eject button.
Maybe use a paperclip or something to pull the front panel button rear out again.
there is something broken contained by the back of the drive, preventing it from closing adjectives the way. So it keep popping open. Likely you'll enjoy to replace that drive...Jim
