However, there are litterally hundreds of different types, but they adjectives follow basic shapes and sizes.

Hope that help. Good luck! :)
Graphics cards are generally pretty big. It will be only just above the PCI slots. (the pci slots are where you would put latest cards, like a tv tuner, etc.

Graphics cards usually own a rather colossal fan on them as in good health. It should also be the card that your monitor plugs into.
It's the one your monitor plugs into, you can see it from both sides with the cover past its sell-by date
Brillant Answer already given, it's the one your monitor plugs into.

Always unplug your computer before trying to remove it.
Graphic cards hold at least one VGA port, but could also enjoy DVI or other interfaces as well. if you hold an all-in-wonder card, things get screwy since you entail the pigtails to plug practically anything in. VGA ports enjoy 3 rows of 15 pins (not all are used) vs. the elderly serial ports which are 2 rows, totalling 9 pins. Practically any card with a small 15 pin jack is a video card. Each card take a different driver depending on which chipset is used, amount of memory etc. Get a good look at the board once you own it out and write down every name/number you see written on the card, then shift to Google to find a driver.
