I hold a Dell Dimension 2400 series, and when i got to the master information, the computer freezes. I can easily return with on this sub account near no problem, but as soon as i get to the master article it freezes. can anyone tell me what is possibly wrong?

if there is an administrator details go into it and loose change the settings for all users.
Your problem is simply this.....Its a Dell! They are not respectable for freezing up!!
Dell is the problem.
actually the problem is not dell its window, you can try the following
place the windows cd on the cd tray, consequently go to start>run>sfc /scannow this will check for errors on window and repair it.
other thing you can try is restart the computer (with the window cd inside) when you see the dell logo tap f12 on the boot menu select
settle cdrom or usb cdrom, you will see a message to type any key so it will boot from the cd, at the setup peak tap R to repair, that will transport you to the recovery console(just hit enter when it prompts you for an administrator password) at the command prompt type: chkdsk /r
other article you can try is running a system restore. start>programs>accesories>syst... tools> system restore
