We enjoy high speed cable. I'd approaching to have a system that enable me to hook up direct from the cable cord on the wall (need router?). Also, I'd like it to be capable of support ADSL should i want to switch over at some point. Any suggestions? I'm looking at Linksys (what's the difference btw wireless 'N' or 'G'), Dlink and Apple airport extreme base station.
What wireless system is best for a PC? A Mac?
From my experience, the Linksys APs tend to die massively quickly..... Cheap hardwdare.... I own had fitting luck with D Link....
Now most laptops support B &G wireless..... N is not supported since the standards own not been finallized as of even so by IEEE.... "N" wireless is a new publication with much highly developed speeds but from what I heard it is incompatible next to B & G since it used multiple radio frequencies to get the background transported where as B & G with the sole purpose use a single radio frequency....
I hope the above helps.... I would recommend G wireless access point....
Most Macs support B and G also....
