What to upgrade my computer?

i own a compaq persario (SR1311NX) its a great computer but i wanted to upgrade it and i call for some suddgestion, i already put more memory in but i resembling to play games, download music and videos, etc. but some stuff only just won't work, i would like the computer to be nippy, i'm going to get DSL HIGH SPEED, or CABLE, here soon. but looked-for to know what else i could do for my desktop? thank you.

Well, it all depends on how much you want to spend. For roughly speaking 250$ you can upgrade the motehrboard/video card and new memory for the motehrboard. for nearly another 80 bucks ya can throw in another firm drive. Right there ya enjoy a brand new computer.
Try a graphics card. It is a correct first step if you don't have the money for a current mother board.



Ebay has Radeon 9250 Series for around $40 brand new. I only just looked it up now.
A clear card & lots of ram ll do the tric for gaming .

You might might to price the cost of upgrading versus buying a brand new computer. The big box stores like Best Buy enjoy some good deal whenever there's a holiday. St. Patrick's Day will soon be here. Also check www.dell.com they have some honourable deals as very well.
