I am building a gaming workstation



Would 2 Geforce 7600GT 256MB GDDR3 cards be a powerful combo?



Would it be equivilent to a 512MB card?

Meh, you would probably be better stale spending the same amount for a 7900gt explicitly SLI compatable and then subsequent year buy another one when the price comes down a bit.



Your performance beside that card would be about equal as an SLI setup with 7600gt's
2 256 cards SLI would be faster than a single 512 card, but still depends on the clock spd and what category of card it is. u can get the 8800 if u hold the money or get 7800s theyre not that expensive in a minute
